Every now and then a one-of-a-kind rarity becomes available... Or a show-stopping ultra steps out of the crowd...Shells that take your breath away and are a joy to own.. Conus crocatus #3 70.6mm, Lamarck 1810, GIGANTIC VERY RARE NEAR-GEM from the Philippines. Collected by tangle net in 150 meters of water, Bohol Island, the Philippines, 2020. I'm not quite sure why, but very rarely is an undamaged crocatus cone available. What I mean is, most often the shell has simply awful scar repairs on it, which, added to the fact that this gorgeous shell is also very rare?
Except for a smooth repair worked into the pattern of its back, this shell is simply perfect---an unscarred body, a perfect spire and lip, and gorgeous golden color, it is the kind of rare beauty that people simply dream about collecting! So, a gigantic, rare near-GEM specimen--- with a level of quality rarely offered ---a shell that will look fantastic sitting on your shelf! The ultra-perfect shell a first-rate collection.. As for feedback, as your know, sellers live and die by the feedback you leaved, please leave fives! So if you have a problem, just let me know! Now there's a phrase that brings smiles to your eyes, doesn't it! Anyhow, if you have read this far, you have my apologies and best wishes from those of us at IslandShells323. Home is where your collection is! Conus crocatus #3 70.6mm.
