1989 OPC (Canadian) #186 Randy Johnson Rookie Near Gem Mint 9.5. This has to be his rarest rookie as print runs for Canadian baseball traditionally low.

Recent HOF player with the defunct Montreal Expos. This is a great collector card of a clean baseball great. Probably going to be one of the few cards of these years that hold great long term play. Rarer in general, much rarer graded and much much rarer in higher grades than their Topps counterpart. These are the "junk box" years.

Hate that terminology, but tonnes of cards produced in mid to late 1980's thru mid 1990's. In baseball, especially true, except for premium runs (Topps Tiffany) or the Canadian version of Topps, O-Pee-Chee.

OPC supported a much smaller market who was (is) hockey crazy. Although best known for hockey, OPC also printed baseball cards that had a much stronger focus the Canadian Teams and players. These cards were produced for a market that was only 10% the size of the US market. Cards were produced at a percentage much less than that - probably closer to 5% the US numbers.

Therefore for everyone 20 Topps cards like above, only one will exist as an OPC card! I sell the cards as graded - not the cases.
